Building Tomorrow's Leaders, Today.
We champion the implementation of leadership training for students, faculty, and parents in Utah’s schools.
Founder’s Message
Jason Thompson shares his personal story about the importance of education and leadership, and how it inspired him to create the Legacy Forward Foundation.
What We Do
Establish Leadership Training in Utah’s Schools
The Legacy Forward Foundation seeks to bridge the gap between world-class leadership training and schools across Utah. We serve as a fundraising source for schools interested in ensuring students are taught leadership principles through proven curriculums. We aim to empower the entire school ecosystem—students, faculty, and parents—to speak a common language of leadership.
Legacy Forward Mentor Round Table
We're bringing together all the resources available to our youth—from teachers and school admin to government officials and other nonprofit groups. From Ogden to Smithfield, we host quarterly gatherings designed to get today’s leaders on the same page, ensuring our future leaders have the coordinated support they deserve.
Legacy Forward
Library
We believe the right book at the right time can change everything—so we’ve compiled a library of our favorite books on leadership and personal development. We invite you to contribute your favorite books to our growing collection as well.
Why Teach Leadership in Schools?
By establishing specific curriculum with trusted partners in schools across Utah, Legacy Forward seeks to build the foundation for leadership where it’s needed the most. We empower school faculty, district administration, and parents with the funds and tools they need to teach Utah’s students the principles of leadership. Because real leadership doesn’t begin in a boardroom—it begins in our homes and classrooms.
